Our Missionaries

The mission of the church given by our Lord is to make disciples of all the nations (Matt. 28:19-20). We seek to be faithful to His call both locally and around the world through our partnership with the following overseas missionaries.

Lucio and Cristina Stanisci - Rome, Italy

Lucio was born in Rome, Italy, in 1966 and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at age 24, in November 1990, after a long period of personal crises. He was baptized in 1993 in the "Berea" Independent Gospel Church of Rome. Lucio has been married to Cristina since August 1998. They have three children, Rebecca, Davide, and Mattia.

Growing under the elders' teaching Lucio started serving in the church, and through evangelism; in 1994 the Lord called him for a period of further Biblical training. He first attended the "School of Christian Living" (SVC) for ten intensive weeks in 1994. In 1996 he started attending the "Istituto Biblico Evangelico Italiano" (IBEI) where he graduated in 1999.

From 1999 to July 2005 he served full time in the "Berea" church in Rome as youth pastor, pastor of outreach ministry, as well as providing discipleship and Biblical counseling. He also taught and preached regularly in the church. From 2003 to 2005 he served as one of the elders of the church in Rome and from 2001 to 2005 he wrote for the singles magazine "Punti Fermi." Lucio and Cristina have also been involved for many years in the ministry at the Institute of Isola del Gran Sasso (IBEIsola) by teaching, preaching, and helping out with the camps and conferences for children, youth, and families.

In August 2005 he enrolled at The Master's Seminary in California, where he graduated with his Masters of Divinity in 2009. After completing his studies, he has returned to Italy to pastor a local church as well as be involved in the ministry of the Italian Theological Academy.

The Bracketts are one of three families sent to work alongside Misko Horvatek to build and strengthen the church in Croatia. Kris and Nina have three beautiful girls, Gracie (1999), Gaby (2001), and Katy (2005).

Gus and Melissa Pidal - Leon, Spain

Gus and Melissa met while they were in college at Grace Community Church. When first married, they served in Crossroads, GCC’s college ministry. While in Seminary, the Lord began to work in their hearts on the necessity of training leaders and expositors and the need that exists overseas, which led them to consider missions in Spain.

After Gus graduated from the Master's seminary with his MDiv in May 2009, they moved to León, Spain in 2011. León is a beautiful city located in the northern part of Spain.

Gus and Melissa have been married since July of 2001 and have been blessed with 3 boys Cael Athanasius, born May of 2007, Coen Chrysostom born February of 2010 and Cian Irenaeus born July of 2016.
