Pastor Jason Vaughn grew up in Oklahoma City. He was saved during his senior year in college while studying the Bible with two close Fraternity brothers. For a few years, he contemplated seminary while continuing to study Scripture. Unsure whether or not he was called to ministry, Jason decided Seminary would help him be a better student of Scripture. After being accepted to Seminary, he married Kyla in 2005, three months before moving to Los Angeles to attend The Master's Seminary. They decided to wait until after seminary to have kids. Naturally the Lord gifted them with three boys while in school!

In Seminary Jason was a deacon at Grace Community Church where he spent time in two local ministries.  He worked for three years in an alcohol and drug rehab center preaching and counseling patients while leading an adult Bible Study in Pasadena, CA for six years. During his tenure at GCC, Jason spent a few summers in Croatia ministering with the missionaries. Kyla and he traveled to Croatia in November in order for him to teach a class to the academy students.

In the summer of 2012 he traveled and met five other families in Las Vegas with a similar interest to begin a biblical ministry and proclaim the gospel! After graduating from Grace Advance in August 2012 he moved his family to Las Vegas, NV where Cornerstone Community Church officially started and began working to develop the ministry.

Jason and Kyla love Christ, the church, missions and enjoy coffee, crafts, people, and family. You can also follow his personal blog at shepherdthesheep.com or his work with the parkingspace23 team.

Gino Guillermo was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam. He was born into the Roman Catholic faith as many are on Guam. Though he knew about Jesus Christ throughout his childhood, he never truly worshipped Him. However, that changed when God graciously opened his eyes to the true gospel during his early college years. Even more astonishing was that God used a Korean speaking church that faithfully preached the gospel.

Almost a year later, he moved to Las Vegas to finish his business marketing degree at the University of Las Vegas Nevada. For ten years Gino lived and worked in Las Vegas. During this time he became increasingly involved in the teaching leadership for the youth and young adult ministries at his local church. He also directed the music ministry during the main services as well preached from the pulpit from time to time. After several years of ministry Gino began to realize God’s “call” but was also faced with the reality that he needed to be trained for it. The only place he wanted to be trained at was The Master’s Seminary, a dream that somehow became a reality a few years later.

A few months before moving to Los Angeles to start seminary he married his beautiful wife, Jessie.  For the next 5 years in seminary their family of two expanded to five: Judah (4), Ella (3), & Ezra (1), and one post-seminary baby, Janna (8 weeks).

It was during seminary that Gino became a member of Grace Community Church. It was also here where God providentially crossed his path with another seminary student and fellow coffee connoisseur named Jason Vaughn. He served alongside Jason as part of the leadership team in the Cornerstone Fellowship group at Grace Community Church. When Jason left to plant a church in Gino’s hometown of Las Vegas, he took over Jason’s Bible study in Los Angeles.

After graduating from The Master’s Seminary in May, 2015, Gino moved back to Las Vegas with the desire to become part of the Cornerstone church plant in his very own city. His passion is to see Christ exalted in Las Vegas through the faithful teaching and preaching of the Bible for the salvation of the lost and the building up of the local church for the work of ministry. He believes that this is what Cornerstone aspires to and is grateful and excited to be part of this local church.

Ramil Santiago, a native of the Philippines, moved to the United States when he was 13 years of age, lived in Orange County, CA and later moved to Las Vegas with his family.  There, he worked toward a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

While a junior in high school in 2002, he met some friends who would eventually be instrumental in his introduction to the Gospel.  Upon surrendering his life to Christ as his Lord and Savior, Ramil began his worship of the Lord and sought to be involved in the life of the local church.  Over the next eleven years, he would eventually come to serve his local church as music minister, youth leader, and college bible study leader, all the while, increasing in his desire to study the Scriptures in greater depth.

In June of 2013, the Lord brought great changes to Ramil's life as he became a family man, by marrying his wife Chelsea, and was called by the Lord to be a part of the work in Cornerstone Community Church.  About a year and a half later both were blessed by the Lord with a son - little Theo Paul.  As a family, the Santiagos have been a part of the life of Cornerstone since 2013, serving wherever they are needed under the guidance and teaching of Pastor Jason Vaughn.  Currently, Ramil serves as an elder at Cornerstone and his wife, Chelsea, serves as deaconess.
